At the beginning of the year I decided to set a simpler goal for
myself than last year. When I didn't even come close to
meeting last year's goal by October, it depressed me, and
actually set me back quite a bit.
So this year my goal was set at writing 50,000 words for my
own enjoyment. Words written for classes don't count
towards it. There is no set number of works, which is part
of where I messed up last year. It's just a simple, and I
think fairly manageable, goal.
I am doing monthly updates on my blog of just where all the
words are going to, and I decided to also place it on my
website.
